BMF Signs First Reseller in the United Kingdom

Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF), the pioneer in microscale 3D printing systems, today announced reseller partnership with The CREATE Education Project, a 3D printing company committed to supporting educators, educational institutions, outreach and community programs. The CREATE Education Project purchased BMF’s microArchTM S140, a micro-precision 3D printer designed for production of high resolution, highly precise parts, and will be offering the technology to customers who want to print parts with ultra-high resolution, accuracy, and precision.

The microArch 140 uses a proprietary approach to 3D printing named PμSL (Projection Micro-Stereolithography) that leverages light and enables the technology to produce incredibly high-resolution prints with a 10 µm resolution and +/- 25 µm tolerance. Today, BMF has the only micro 3D printing platform that matches precision injection molding in terms of resolution, size, and tolerance.

“We’re delighted that Boston Micro Fabrication have chosen CREATE Education as their first reseller in the United Kingdom, allowing them to lean on our support structure and experience in the education and research sectors. They’re providing a game-changing technology that allows parts and devices to be printed at a truly unbelievable resolution and scale, at a much lower cost and higher speed than previously thought possible, enabling breakthrough research and development. Not only are the parts a wonder to behold, but the applications the machines enable are wide and varied, so I expect to see these machines used across all kinds of real-world applications and make a huge impact very quickly.” Paul CroftFounder at CREATE Education Project.

“We are very excited to work with The CREATE Education Project and look forward to bringing BMF technology to the forefront of the education community in the United Kingdom. We strive to provide the research and development experience of a microfabrication laboratory with a focus on ultra-high resolution, accuracy, and precision that enables discovery and ingenuity,” said John Kawola, CEO of Global Operations, BMF

If you are interested in learning more, or would like to have a sample part printed please contact BMF or The CREATE Education Project for more information.

About BMF – Boston Micro Fabrication
